A lot of people write asking about the availability of short term leases on Guam, so we thought we'd cover a bit about that here.

Generally, owners on Guam ask for a minimum of a one year term. There are circumstances in which they may accept a shorter term for some consideration. Recently, we resolved a situation for one of our buyers who needed a place to live for six months while his home was being constructed. In this case, we negotiated with the owner for a $2500 per month rent payment for a term of six months, rather that $2000 per month on a one year term, his minimum acceptable term. This is just one example. Remember: Everything is negotiable.

There are other options available for those staying on Guam for a short time for work. There are a limited number of fully furnished and equipped 3 – 4 bedroom condos are available for short term lease that are quite nice. Power, water, and cable can also be included as well as the use of resort style amenities. Costs vary widely depending on your needs and how long you'll be staying.
