3G Service, iPads and Trying to Stay Connected

There was once a day that I swore I'd never use a computer. I wanted to say it wasn't long ago. But in thinking about it, I guess it was. In fact, my very first recollection of using a computer, which was more of a word processor I guess, was one of those with the keyboard and monitor all in one piece. I think i saw one on an old episode of "Lost in Space" the other day. Well, that's enough dating myself.

IT&E

I get lots of questions about staying connected here, 3G service, iphones, ipads, etc. I'm a Mac user myself. There's a little bit on both our websites about it but we can cover some here too.

Services for staying connected on Guam are slowly but surely catching up. Things stateside have evolved a little quicker but we're pretty quick to step up when new technology is available. I'll be honest, my 3G Service for my ipad with GTA is horrible. But there is 3G here.

IT&E

Just recently I found IT&E to have a great new product called "mi-fi". Now, no matter where I go, I'm my own wifi hotspot. No need for 3G or having to pirate someone's unsecured connection. And it works very well. So far, it hasn't ever even disconnected me, unlike my home wifi connection which always drops in the middle of one of those online forms I'm filling out. The only limitation seems to be the battery life, which is about 3.5 hours of constant use, not too shabby. And, my IT&E gadget is actually faster than my home service.
