Tipping on Guam

This is going to be a short one...

Something just came up yesterday and I thought it worthy of mention here, since we try to give you solid information about Guam and what to expect when you get here.

I know the custom of including a gratuity for your service person along with the bill varies widely depending on what country or city you're in. I'm all for tipping for good service, but don't feel like I should have to if service was crap. And although it's been a while since I paid a restaurant bill in the States, I remember that there was generally a service charge for larger groups, but here it applies to any size group or even an individual. So, most of the time here on Guam, expect some form of service charge to be added to you bill already. Then you can decide if you want to leave anything extra or not.
